An excerpt from a D2L self-led training program. I led enterprise adoption and faculty enablement for a D2L Brightspace rollout.
I served as the Senior Instructional Designer and Training & Development Coordinator, leading enterprise adoption of D2L Brightspace. My work included instructional design, change management, governance documentation, faculty workshops, self-paced training, one-on-one coaching, knowledge-base articles, stakeholder communication, and quality assurance.
The institution implemented a new learning management system without a unified faculty onboarding strategy. Instructors needed guidance on course creation, assessments, gradebook configuration, permissions, and best practices while maintaining consistency across the institution.
I designed a comprehensive adoption program that combined asynchronous learning, live workshops, office hours, governance documentation, and practical job aids. The result was a consistent onboarding experience that reduced support requests and increased instructor confidence with Brightspace.
